| ****MAY 7, 2005 - LARESA EARNS HER FIRST LEG ON HER 'CDX' AT THE OVOTC TRIALS IN KELOWNA, B.C. WITH A VERY NICE SCORE OF 194.5, AND HIGHEST QUALIFYING SCORE FOR A GERMAN SHEPHERD DOG THAT DAY, AND H.Q.S FOR SKAHA KENNEL CLUB. WE FOUND OUT LATER THAT SHE WAS DEFINITELY PREGNANT FOR THIS! |
| **** JUNE 24, 2005.....WE HAVE PUPPIES! 2 females and 6 males. All are doing great, as is Laresa. ....please see our PUPPIES page for more information. |
| ****May 8th, 2006.....We finished Laresa's CDX this weekend at the OVOTC Trials in Kelowna, BC.......scores of 194 and 192, and Highest Qualifying Score for a German Shepherd Dog both days, as well as for Skaha Kennel Club.... on to UTILITY! |

| **** March 20th, 2006.....another weekend of Trialling....this time the new sport of RALLY-O.in Kamloops, BC......great fun....we got a new title "RNMCL" with 3 very high scores of 195, 197, and 199 out of a perfect 200! |
| ****August 2006.....Laresa had 7 puppies, 5 girls and 2 boys. They all went to loving homes, except the first born...little Miss Bridget is staying with us, and will be my daughters 4H dog. |
| **** October 2006....Laresa earns her Rally Advanced title in 3 trials in Kelowna, BC. Astan got his first 2 legs on his Rally Novice title. These are CARO titles. |
| ****December 2006...off to Kamloops for a CARO Rally trial, this time indoors. Astan completed his Novice title, but we had a little more trouble in Excellent, so Laresa did not qualify.....but we were very close! |
| ****March 2007....off to Vernon for another CARO Rally trial...this time Laresa qualified, and got her first leg in EXCELLENT. Astan was not entered, but brother Augusta was and he now has his Rally Novice title (CARO). Way to go Augusta and Carrie! |
| **** May 2007......Laresa and I competed for our first ever time in the UTILITY ring......Unfortunately she did not qualify, but once again we were very close....not bad for our first time, I think. And,AUGUSTA vom Edenrock got his first leg on his CKC Novice title. GOOD JOB< Carrie! |
| **** June 2007......Carrie and I took the boys to meet the sheep at Shelley Fritzke's. Oh, what fun they had that day!!!! Both ASTAN and AUGUSTA are now HERDING INSTINCT CERTIFIED (HIC). THANK YOU Shelley! |
| ****BIG NEWS!!! JULY 2007....ASTAN PASSED HIS HIP AND ELBOW X-RAYS AND IS CERTIFIED BY OFA TO BE FREE OF HIP AND ELBOW DYSPLASIA. HE IS NOW AVAILABLE AT STUD TO APPROVED FEMALES.....contact me for more info. |
| ****September 2007....LARESA, ASTAN AND AUGUSTA all earn their first leg in CKC Rally Novice. WAY TO GO EDENROCK! ASTAN had the highest score with 94 out of 100. I cost Laresa 10 points (I forgot to pause) or she would have had 99. |
| ****November 2007....Augusta and Carrie trialled 2 more times and completed their CKC COMPANION DOG title in Cloverdale BC with a High in Class. Great job, Carrie and Gus, you make a nice team!. |
| **** September 2007......our first CKC Agility trial. Resa has been in training for this forever, but timing has never allowed us to compete....she was phenomenal. We got high compliments from both judges with one even writing "your GSD is one of the best I have ever seen, not just conformation wise, but her attitude is exceptional" (quote). We ran 8 runs in 2 days, (in the rain) and got her NOVICE JUMPERS title, as well as one leg in Advanced Jumpers, and one leg in NOVICE STANDARD. She was also first in all 5 classes that she Q'd in. |
