Laura Dawn is the pseudonym of Laura Beningfield, the prodigious twenty year old author of 'Envelope of a Letter'. Our biography provides all the information anyone could possibly wish to know about her personal history, interests and hobbies and describes how she successfully overcame the intimidating challenges that face and often overcome aspiring young writers.

In addition to her amateur dramatic work, Laura is currently concentrating upon writing a 'dramatically different' fantastical novel (the details of which are available in the news archive), and upon reworking one of her earlier compositions, 'Linford Sisters', a Crimean War piece. Although she is circumspect about her future aspirations, she makes one telling revelation: 'My ultimate ambition would be to get one of my novels made into a film or adapted for the BBC. That would be absolutely amazing'. Hopefully this dream will not be too long in the realisation!
