A prodigiously talented writer with a powerful sensibility for the dark ambivalence at the heart of human nature, Laura has completed three novels and eight novellas spanning a diverse spectrum of Regency tragi-comedy romances, tales of Georgian class oppression, stories of the paranormal, contemporary thrillers and hospital dramas.

Laura's lovingly illustrated locations, complex, ambiguous and enduringly intriguing characterisation and poignant, thoughtful plotting has won her numerous accolades, including, at the tender age of eighteen, the runner-up position in the Fygleaves Short Story Competition of 2004 for her short story 'Whitewash'.
