Mabel Creasey was born at Geddes, SD to Algernon Cidney and Maggie Long Creasey. After her mother's passing, Algernon moved his four unmarried small children (Clinton, Lonnie, Mabel and Lloyd) along with his third wife, Anna Cooney and her two children, Lite (Lyle) and Henrietta, to California.

Mabel married Dave Brower. They had no children.
