Pianist Leah Peer and flutist Eileen Yu founded The Aulos Duo in 1999. These two Western New York artists joined together in order to focus on music that emphasizes the collaborative relationship between the two instruments. Their repertoire, which ranges from Baroque through Contemporary works, is selected with this criterion in mind. Their live performances also include solo works for each instrument, highlighting each performer's artistry. The Duo has just released their first CD "The Aulos Duo", available at this web site and at local stores.
