April
4/4-My mock interview on Friday went really well. I actually enjoyed it. The rest of the weekend I did pretty much nothing except read for history. I read 250 pages of a novel and I'm still only half way done. I have a History test on Tuesday so I have to spend all my time between now and then working on finishing that book and typing my study notes. It is not going to be fun. I was excited about one thing though. I bought new socks! Some of you may not appreciate new socks, but since I've been in college I've learned to. All of my socks had turned a yucky greyish color, and had holes in them. That never happened in high school, so I'm very happy to have a brand new package of nice, white socks.
4/5-Aerobics was the highlight of my day, and I don't particularly like it. All I have done today is type history notes, read my novel for history, and do laundry. I just want to get this test overwith.
4/6-I stayed up until 3:30 last night studying for history. I think I did ok on the test. I haven't done anything but go to class today. I'm making up for yesterday's hours and hours of studying. It has been raining on and off all day and we've been under a flood watch for the past couple of days. I hope the weather gets better before Ellen and I leave to go home for Easter. It's going to be weird going home two weekends in a row. Oh well. We only have 4 1/2 weeks of school left, not including finals. I want this semester to be over, but I have calculus looming in my future. I have to get it over with though, so I have no other choice but to take it this summer. We're closing on my condo the last week in April. That is something else I have to deal with this summer. I have to clean, paint, fix it up, and decorate, along with buying all the furnishings and kitchen stuff. I am going to have a busy summer. I really would like to work, but I don't think I'll have time.
4/7-I was so set on not forgetting to go to my BA 324 group meeting at 7:30 that I forgot to go to my government SI session at 4. Oh well. At least I remembered my meeting. I didn't get much done today. I think I've taken my recovery from my history test a little too far. I have no motivation to do anything because nothing is due until my last class on Tuesday, and I don't have another test until May4. I get to go home tomorrow. My uncle Randall is going to be in town for the day, so I'm going to ride back with him tomorrow night. I really, really hope I have a good weekend
4/8-I get to go home today. Right now I'm waiting on my uncle. I won't end up getting home until like 11 tonight, but that's ok. I've only been in Austin for 4 days, since I went home last weekend too, but it feels like I've been here forever. Today, I got a paper back that I wrote for business communication. I made a 98 on it! I was happy because she grades really hard.
4/9-I didn't get home until 11 last night. It was ok though since I don't usually go to bed until about 2 anyway. Heather and I went to Humble because I wanted to buy an Easter dress. I looked in every store in Deerbrook and found nothing. Luckily I brought another dress home. I guess I just don't like the new style of dresses.
4/10-I got my hair cut and highlighted this morning. It is so much better because it's quite a bit blonder. I did nothing else the rest of the day. My nana and papa came over for dinner. I made cornbread for that. It was really good. I love cornbread, but I haven't had any in awhile. Then I made a cake for my mom because my family is going to my aunt's house tomorrow and she has to take something.
4/11-It's Easter, but it sure doesn't feel like it. It's cold and gross outside. I went to church this morning and it was really, really crowded. Then Ellen, Dominique, and I drove home. Now, I'm in Austin with four more weeks to go. It's almost over!!! I heard somthing really funny from Christiana today. UT is trying to buy Sam Houston. I think that is hilarious.
4/12-I didn't do much today.  I went to aerobics, ate lunch, read government, worked on a project, went to an economics SI session, ate dinner, and finished my project.  It has been really boring, but at least I got some stuff done. I was also attacked today by either allergies or sinuses. I can't tell which one, but it's miserable
4/13-Today just felt like a wasted day, even though I went to all my classes. I can't wait until May 18 when all of my finals are over! I don't know why I'm looking forward to summer so much. Right when I get done with this semester I have to get my wisdom teeth taken out and then start Calculus, which will probably be worse than getting my teeth cut out! Yay!
4/14-I went to aerobics and then read for most of the rest of the day.  I keep telling myself "Three more weeks, three more weeks..."
4/15-I went to class and then immediately came back to my room and took a two and a half hour nap. It was great. I also watched the season finale of The Apprentice. I was disappointed that Kwame didn't win, but it was still a good show. Next season there is supposed to be someone from the UT business school on it. That will be pretty cool. One thing that is NOT cool is the fact that my suitemates have been really, really loud lately. What is worse is that right now there is someone sitting in the toilet stall throwing up. They have been sitting in there for 30 minutes. They all went out and then came back here to throw up. I'll be glad when I get to move into my condo and I don't have to put up with this kind of stuff. By the way, we're closing on the condo on the the 26th of this month.
4/16-This is the first Friday I've been in Austin in three weeks. It was nice being able to sleep in. Ellen and I went and ate at Texadelphia since we were over that way anyway. We also went to Target and then drove over to my condo to see where the closest bus stop is. It's only a block. We also watched that Tom Cruise classic Risky Business. It was good, but kinda weird. Tomorrow, Ellen, Briana, and I are going to see a movie. That should be fun.
4/17-I woke up at noon. We went and ate Chinese food (yum!) and then watched The Prince and Me. It was a good movie but kind of depressing. That was pretty much all I did.
4/18-Let's see...what have I done today? NOTHING! Well, nothing if you don't count studying and reading. Tomorrow begins the third to last week of class. Yay! Ellen and I were awing at the fact that our freshman year in college is almost over. That is so amazing. It has been relatively painless, and extremely quick. If it stays like this college will be over in like three months, or at least that's how I will remember it.
4/19-I made an appointment with a career counselor today. I'm meeting with one on Wednesday to see if all of this business stuff I'm doing is really for me. Wouldn't that be depressing if they said, "You should hate business. You would be much better at something else." All of this would be a waste of time. I highly doubt I'd change my major, but I'm curious as to what they are going to tell me. It will be interesting. We close on my condo in one week. I want to hurry up and get in it and start getting things done. Last night I was thinking about all the stuff I will need for it. Not only will I have to get the stuff to fix it up with, but I also need everything that you find in a normal house, 95% of which I don't already have. This is going to be an expensive summer!
The rest of April...
