April
4/1-I got off work at 4 today and took a long nap. Then I went out and had fun. I'm probably going to the UT baseball game tomorrow.
4/2-The game was good today. We won against Kansas State 5-4. I came home and took a nap. I've been sitting around ever since.
4/3-I went to personal training for the first time today. I'm will definitely be sore in the morning. My trainer, Jori, was nice. I also met with my accounting group about the presentation on Wednesday. They hadn't finshed what they needed to, so we're probably going to have to stay at the computer lab late on Tuesday night to get it all done. I'm going to ask Nita if I can work on Thursday afternoon instead of Wednesday morning.
4/4-I get to take off work on Wednesday morning. Tomorrow will probably be a late night trying to get that presentation ready. I ran and did crunches after class today. I'm still sore from yesterday though. I got my credit card in the mail today. It took them long enough to get it to me. It was perfect timing because I get paid tomorrow. Not that I'm going to spend a bunch of money. I'm just not going to put anything on it unless I have the money in my checking account to pay for it.
4/5-The presentation meeting with my group didn't take as long as I thought it would. I ended up leaving campus around 11. I stayed up until 2 to finish it and print it out. I'm glad I took off work tomorrow morning. I would only be getting 4 hours of sleep. Now all we have to do is present it and it'll finally be finished. We're hoping he gives us some slack since we only had a three person group and another group took our topic. Oh well.
4/6-The presentation was fine today. I wore business casual like we were supposed to so I was in heels and carrying my laptop in my backpack. Needless to say, my feet were killing me. I realized today that I have a test on Tuesday through Thursday next week. This weekend is going to be terrible, along with next week. We have another accounting group project due on Monday. My group scheduled a meeting today to do it on Sunday night at 8. It looks like I'm going to be really tired at work on Monday morning. Unfortunately I probably shouldn't ask for another day off.
4/7-I went to training again today. It got a little easier, but I'm still going to be really sore. I didn't really do anything else today, inluding studying.
4/8-I worked from 8-6:15 today. Nita had me run an errand, and the place I went was right beside a Luby's, so I had that for lunch. It was much better than fast food. Work wasn't too bad after Nita got there, but she got there at like 10, so I sat there for 2 hours doing nothing. I asked her about my schedule next fall. I could work all day 2 days a week, or I could work for a few hours at a time more days a week. I'm really hoping she tells me to do the first option, because that means I could work all day Monday and Wednesday, stack all my classes on Tuesday and Thursday, and get Fridays off. That would be great. The only bad thing is that I'm always going to have to be either at work or in class at 8. I think it's worth it to get Fridays off. Heather went on a date tonight with a guy named Jonathan. He seems really nice from what she's told me. I have so much studying to do this weekend. Tomorrow is devoted to statistics and the next day is devoted to philosophy. Yay.
4/9-I went to Wal-Mart and then did statistics for a couple of hours. I went and ran and while I was cooling down Ellis called me and said he was in Austin. He invited me to go to roundup with him and his friends he had come down here with from Arlington. I met them at a guy's apartment and it was so nice, but very expensive. We went to roundup. It was pretty cool. A girl we were with (Victoria)said there weren't that many people there compared to Thursday and Friday night. Victoria lived by Ellis when they both lived in Arlington. She was really nice.
4/10-I should have done more studying today. A guy in my accounting group emailed me last night and said he couldn't come to the meeting tonight to do our project that's due tomorrow. So, me and the other guy in the group rescheduled the meeting for earlier, which is great because I have to work in the morning and I didn't want to stay up late. We decided to just turn in what we had even though we aren't sure if it's right. It would have helped if that guy had been there because he seems to know what he's doing more that me and the other guy do. Oh well. I'm going to have such a terrible week. I have that project due tomorrow and then a test Tuesday through Thursday. I shouldn't have gone out last night.
4/11-So we turned in our accounting project, then took a quiz and did a group quiz. I did terrible on the quiz, but my group did good on the other quiz. I hate accounting. I went to bed later than I wanted to last night. Right before I went to bed someone prank called me. I answered the first time, but not the second or third time. My phone just said 'private' so I don't know who called or the number they called from. I'll probably never find out who it was. I called Ellen today to see if she wanted to eat lunch, but she told me she has mono. She sounded terrible and said she felt the same. Hopefully she gets over it fast. Now I have to start studying for my statistics test tomorrow...
4/12-My test pretty much sucked today, but I have to keep reminding myself that the grade in that class doesn't transfer, so it doesn't matter. However, my next two tests, tomorrow and the next day, do matter. I need to keep studying for them.
4/13-I bought more training today. I get to go twice a week for the next month. My parents are going to be in Austin this weekend becasue the MS 150 ends here on Sunday. My philosophy test wasn't too bad. I don't think it was as good as the last two, but really there was only one question that seemed to repeat the question right before it. Hopefully my answer was ok. I only went to campus today for that test, becasue I didn't have philosophy discussion or accounting. After my test I went and ran and lifted.
4/14-This morning I woke up a few minutes before my alarm went off. I panicked because I couldn't remember what day it was, didn't know why I was still asleep, didn't know if I was late for something, etc. I've done this a couple of times lately. I hate waking up in a panic. Anyway, someone pulled the fire alarm at ACC today, and then the lights went out in the main building. It was weird. I went to my accounting test at 7. It wasn't as horrible as I thought it would be, which means it was still bad. Oh well. I'm just glad all my tests are over for awhile. Maggie asked if she could stay here in between moving out of the dorms and moving into her apartment, so she's going to be staying here for about 10 days, but Jill and I won't be here. Jill is going to be staying here over the summer, but not in the fall, so I have to find another roommate. I wish she would stay, but I'm sure she'll have fun living with Vanessa.
4/15-I worked from 9-5 today, but I didn't do much because she was too busy to tell me what to do. I came home, took an advil, a two hour nap, and ate. I've been sitting around ever since.
The rest of April...
