| 4/16-I laid around and did pretty much nothing today. I did wash clothes and cook, but that's about it. I should have read or something, but I don't have another test until May 4, so I have no motivation to do anything. 4/17-Casey and Mom came last night and stayed here. I went to church and then we went to the finish line of the MS 150 with Beverly to see Dad, Randy, and Mike finish the race. They came and took showers here and then left. I spent the rest of the evening doing nothing, like yesterday. Some day soon I will open a book. 4/18-I went to work and class. I actually typed my philosophy notes and read the beginning of the chapter we just started, but I did that while I was on campus. I didn't do anything after I got home. Jill and I went and ran. We've gone before, but we've never actually run together. I like running with her because she paces me and the laps don't seem so long. Anyway, hopefully we can keep running together for the rest of the semester. I only have 11 days of work and 11 days of class left, which is wonderful. I'll be glad when this semester is over, but all I have to look forward to is 2 more classes. Ellen and I are going home this weekend for Christiana's birthday party. She's having it at Chuy's in The Woodlands on Friday night. 4/19-I went to training today. I finally made myself run a mile like she wanted me to. I think I could have run one yesterday too, but I didn't. Statistics is getting so boring, but at least the stuff we are doing now is easy. I only have to make a 35 on the last test in there to pass, and a 60 to make a B. I think I'll be ok. 4/20-I can't even think of what I did today... 4/21-Today is Christiana's birthday, so I called and talked to her. Her party tomorrow should be fun. I actually didn't have a very good day today. A free class at the ACC library that I went to to get extra credit in statistics was at a different time than I was told so it threw a huge kink in my day. I walked about 3 or 4 miles going back and forth from my parking garage to ACC. It's a long story though and I don't feel like typing it. Anyway, I ended the day with my trainer, and then came home and started packing. It looks like I'm not going to get much sleep tonight because the stuff I need to pack is in the dryer right now. 4/24-Christiana's party was fun on Friday. Ellen and I were the first ones to get there. Christiana, Alyssa, and Troy were late. It was a long wait, but it was ok because we were all talking and stuff. I didn't do anything on Saturday except go to lunch with Jonathan and Heather. Jonathan is really nice. I was glad to finally get to meet him. Heather has been telling me about him for the past couple of weeks. I only have two more weeks of class and then one final exam. It'll go fast. 4/25-I registered this morning. I'm not really happy with my schedule, but I'm on two waitlists and as long as I at least get in the first class I'll be ok with my schedule. Other than that I worked, went to class, ran with Jill, and read. 4/26-Robby called me today to ask if I would lead a group for Disciple Now. It should be interesting. I only have 5 1/2 days of class left and 7 days of work. I'm not even worried about that, or any of my three tests next week. I'm extremely worried about my accounting final. Well, not even specifically my final, just my grade in that class in general. I don't care how I do on the final as long as I pass the class. 4/27-We didn't get our last philosophy test back today like we were supposed to because our TA was sick, so we didn't have our discussion section. We really needed to have it, not only to get our test grades back, but this was the last one before the last test. Jill and I went and ran and then went to HEB. Tara, a girl I met through Ellen, is supposed to come over this weekend to look at the place. She's going to rent my room for 10 weeks over the summer. Also, I got one of my waitlisted classes. Now, I have all my classes on Tuesday and Thursday. Four classes in a row from 8 to 2 will be kinda rough, but at least it will only be 2 days a week. I'm going to have to study a whole lot this weekend for my three tests next week and then I'm going to have to study a lot more for accounting. I finally sat down and calculated my grade for that class, and I don't think it is as terrible as I thought. If we would ever get our group project grade back I could better estimate what I need on the final to pass. 4/28-Jori cancelled training today. It wouldn't be a big deal except I have to get all my sessions in before I leave Austin. As long as I can do that I don't care when I do them. Jill and I went and ran again. It's getting easier already. I need to keep it up when I go back to Cleveland. Maybe Heather will run with me. 4/29-I worked all day today. My advisor sent out an email saying that some of the management classes were listed under two abbreviations. Well, one of the classes I wanted to take instead of finance was included in those classes. So, I looked up that class under the other abbreviation and all the sections were open, unlike the other one, which were all full. Today was my last day of registration until add/drops in August, so I dropped finance and added that other management class under the other abbreviation. It made my schedule a lot better. Instead of going from 8-2 without a break, I go from 8-11 and 12:30-3:30. It'll make the day easier. I'm just glad I was able to stack all my classes on Tuesday and Thursday. I'm taking organizational behavior, operations management, business law, and principles of marketing. I wanted to take a psychology class, but they fill up too fast. Anyway, when I got home Jill was getting ready for the Orange and White Ball, so I helped her. After she left I rented 'The Day After Tomorrow' and watched it. It was pretty good. 4/30-Tara, the girl renting my room for the summer, came over today, after Jill and I hurredly dusted and stuff. She really liked it so she is definitely going to stay here. I hope everything goes ok and that she and Jill get along. I don't think there will be any problems. Jill and I went and ran. We ran earlier than usual because it was cool all day today. It was really sunny in the afternoon, but it still stayed cool. I should have done more homework, but I'll just have to do it tomorrow since I put it off today. |
