ECHO Code of Conduct
The following guidelines apply to all ages and must be observed while attending ECHO enrichment classes and functions.

1. Understand, abide by, and follow the
ECHO Discipline Procedure.
2. No teasing, fighting, or harassing others. 
3. No wrestling or "horseplay" of any kind.
4. Disrespectful or disobedient attitudes will not be tolerated.
5. Students should be dressed appropriately for the classes they will be attending.  Modest attire and the ECHO dress code are to be followed by parents and students.

          
Dress Code: Dresses, shorts, and skirts must come down to fingertip length.  No skin-tight or
           sheer tops.  No tank tops, bare-midriff tops, fishnet tops, plunging necklines, or split-sideskirts. 
           No clothing that advertises, by name or symbol, illegal or immoral items or acts.  Jeans and pants
           must fit properly and not have inappropriate holes above fingertip length.

6. All students are to bring a clearly labeled backpack or tote bag to carry supplies.
7. Toys such as mp3 players, Gameboys, and Legos will be confiscated and returned at the end of the day.
8. Students are to participate in class, listen carefully to directions, raise their hands to talk, sit unless the teacher     says otherwise, ask permission before going to the restroom, and not talk when someone else is talking,              especially the teacher.  Students are to do their assigned homework before the next class meets.

Additional rules for grades 4-12:

9. No touching of another ECHO participant in an improper or sensuous manner.
10. No "pairing up" of students; i.e. acting as couples who are dating (see rule #11 below)..
11. No public display of affection, flirtation, or pursuing others in a sensual or romantic manner.

The ECHO Discipline Procedure will be used if any of the above Code of Conduct rules are not followed.

STUDENT AGREEMENT
We, the undersigned, have read and understand the ECHO Code of Conduct and Discipline Procedure.  We agree to abide by these rules and provisions in order to be eligible to participate in Erie County Homeschool Opportunities classes, field trips, and events.
