The primary objectives and purposes of ECAR shall be:
1) To benefit pets and homeless companion animals in the general San Diego and surrounding areas. (2) Educate the public on the benefits of altering pets. 3) Facilitate spay/neuter for the underprivileged and undereducated public by making financial arrangements, providing transportation, making appointments for spay/neuter on behalf of those unable or unwilling to accomplish spay/neuter without help. 4) Place homeless pets in permanent and loving adoptive homes. 5) Help provide financial assistance for veterinary care and/or food for indigent animals.
