MELANIE: Oh, Mammy, Mammy. This beach just won�t be the same without Tabby Blue.
MAMMY: I know that�s right, Miss Melly. (She shakes her head.) And it don�t look like Mr. Frank will ever be the same neither.
MELANIE: What do you mean?
MAMMY: Mr. Frank done lost his mind. This here thing done broke his heart. When he seen what that shark did to Miss Tabby, he went and got his gun, and he shot that poor lifeguard. And he and Miss Claudia been screamin� at each other ever since.
MELANIE: Don�t tell me any more, Mammy. I think I�m going to go for a swim. (She starts toward the water.)
MAMMY: All right, Miss Melly. But you be careful, hear? I heard the lifeguard say before Mr. Frank shot him that them jellyfish was gonna be bad this week.
