Our children are all proud members of Dragon's Lair 4-H Youth Club. Johnathan, the eldest, is doing Market Swine and Rabbits (specifically Mini Lops) as his 4-H youth project this year.
Savanah, our next child, is doing the Rabbit Project also, specifically Harelquins. Andrew, is doing Poultry (specifically Geese) and the Rabbit Project, specifically Netherland Dwarfs. And Sarah, our youngest, is also doing the Rabbit Project with Jersey Woolies.
Eric, husband and father, is raising Californians and New Zealand Whites to help raise extra food for our large family. He also shows his rabbits, and we are selling the extras to help pay for the keep of the other breeds we raise. Brandy, wife and mother, is raising Mini Rex rabbits.
We used to have a small rabbitry when we lived in Montana, where we primarily raised the rabbits for meat.
We soon hope to start raising chickens when we obtain Andrew's goose. We also have several dogs, cats, and have just gotten some calves.
