| Date: 5/2/03 - 5/3/03 Time: late evening / early morning hours Investigator: Holly W. Location: Bijou Theater Weather: clear - new moon Other Investigators Present: Barbara, Crystal, Lori, Krystee, Amy, Trish Equipment: disposable camera, dowsing rods, flashlight w/new batteries, Radio Shack recorder with external microphone Film Speed: 400 Brand: Wal-Mart Exposures: 27 Film: Color Video Tape: 0 Audio Tape: 3 Cassettes (length - 60 min.) Thermometer: none Phenomena Witnessed By Investigator: 5/2/03 Got to the Bijou sometime between 9:30-10pm. Upon arriving ETPS members already present (Barb, Lori & Crystal) were experiencing one of their first "odd" happenings. The mailbox, which was positioned on the concession counter near the auditorium's entryway, had a flag which had just been moved from its original position by unseen hands. Stood and talked with the members for a while before heading off to take a look around. During this time, I was hearing clicking / rapping sounds coming from the concession area as were other members. About 30 mins after my arrival Barb & I decided to go up to the fourth floor. Upon stepping through the fourth floor doorway off of the stairwell I was hit with a very oppressive atmosphere. The air was extremely 'heavy'. As Barb as I proceeded to a little room on the end of the hallway and entered it definite spirit presence was sensed. The hair on the back of my neck & my arms stood up on end and I developed goose flesh, my body was racked with cold chills. (I took a pic in this room and captured one "Hello! Here I am" orb.) After coming downstairs from this floor we meandered around a little more, snapping pictures and feeling the changes in atmosphere and temperature as we went along. Around this time, Krystee was arriving and after she was settled in and greeted by members we continued our exploration. Not long after Krystee arrived we all went down to the basement. There was a definite feeling of being watched - a picture I took down underneath the stage in the darkness later revealed an orb - that particular area was very creepy. Upon coming up from the basement, I ventured off into the dressing room for a moment while Barb went out to explore the stage. At this point Barbara called the name of Smiley, a former Bijou employee who some say still works full time at the establishment. A moment later I came out of the dressing room to see Barb standing there with a surprised look on her face -- someone in spirit had made its presence known to her by breathing or sighing heavily near her. I was no where close to her at the time so that ruled me out - and when I initially saw her standing there she was alone. Crystal emerged from the basement around that time as well to see Barb in her state of surprise. Around midnight all members except for myself and Krystee left the building. She and I were sitting in the auditorium. I could hear undertones of conversation and at times what sounded like footfall on the balcony above where I was sitting. The air pressure at times was so thick and so heavy it literally felt as if my head would blow off. At one point, I stood up and walked towards the foot of the stage and said out loud "Hello!" and heard a loud CRASH -- I believe the stage backdrop being used at the theater had been struck with force in reply to my greeting. We looked on the stage and nothing appeared to have been moved or altered. Later listened to some of the EVP's taken that evening and heard some interesting things.
