| Investigator Holly's Report Continued |
| Phenomena Witnessed By Investigator Continued: 5/3/03 Krystee and I arrived together at the Bijou around 9:30pm and waited for the symphony's patrons to file out of the building. After conversating with a very friendly and VERY talkative bus driver (lol) we got down to more exploring, alternately taking pictures and sensing the atmosphere throughout the building and waiting on other members to arrive which they soon did. At this time I had to borrow Krystee's flashlight because the juice in the batteries which were freshly placed into the flashlight had been drained. My flashlight was completely useless, as if I had used it for hours and drained it myself. On this particular evening, with the help of Bijou employee David, we finally managed to gain entry into the topmost (formerly the segregated) balcony. Access to the staircase leading up to this balcony was through a storage area. As we climbed the stairs the feeling and the atmosphere got heavier and heavier. I was feeling negative vibes strongly. When we actually entered the balcony doorway you could feel presences all around. One of the members tried to obtain video footage here and could not, the camera would not remain in focus. We sat in the dark in the musty area for a while, feeling the vibes, until none of us really wanted to be there anymore and proceeded back downstairs. Later in the evening, again with friendly Bijou employee David's help, we gained access to the third floor office space used by Bijou staffers. The air here seemed to be crackling with energy and certain rooms definitely contained presences of someone unseen. Photos taken here yielded some orbs also. We then proceeded to the fourth floor. The smell of urine and the heavy atmosphere were prevalent here. Orbs were captured photographically and via Amy's video camera here. We then went downstairs and listened to our EVP tapes, shortly after which all individuals except for myself, Krystee and the aforementioned David, left for the night. Again this evening, sitting in the darkened Bijou auditorium with my two companions, the air pressure began to increase and was so heavy as to almost be painful. I was hearing various rapping, footfall and other sounds at this time. At this point, it was close to 6am -- I bid the theater's unseen residents a farewell and thanked them for having me in their home - I then said goodbye to the two remaining living individuals there and walked out into the brightening Sunday morning, not really wanting to leave but being forced to leave by my weariness. It is my conclusion the Bijou Theater has active as well as residual hauntings taking place, it is a beautiful old establishment -- who can blame them for wanting to hang out there a little longer? Note: In the day or two following my Bijou visit I noticed heavy bruising which could not be explained by any activity performed there at the theater. Upon comparing information, other members Barbara, Lori & Crystal seemed to have experienced the same.
