| Pat stopped up at my shop in the fall of "03 with this absolutly SWEET Ford ! Evidently, he had seen my van parked out in front of the shop and even though he was driving a Ford, he recognized my early GMC right away, and stopped in to check it out. The treat was really for me as I spent more time checking out his Ford then he did my GMC. His Ford is really pretty sweet. Sweet interior, shaved handles and a small block chevy to boot, so he can't be all bad. LOL !! |

| These next 3 vans were spotted near Reno, Nevada when I was attending the National Championship Air Races held in September each year. The first 2 ( the Ford and the Dodge ) were spotted in 2003. The were both on the airport grounds the day after the races. The A100 was even carrying 2 55 gallon drums of racing fuel for the aircraft. The 108" Chev was spotted in Sept. of 2000 at the races. I spotted it when it came in, (which was by the way on a big semi flatbed, yea, you heard me ). It apparently was used as camper to sleep in or possibly a u-haul, just to carry stuff to the races, I don't know. Either way it was too clean not to be being driven. But it just sat in the camping area all race week. |
