About East in Africa

East in Africa (E.I.A.) bringing the East to Africa - was established in April of 2004 by Shariefa Job. EIA started off with the selling of a variety of children’s clothing. This company has a new and interesting style of dress. With the Indian movies being such a great success in SA it contributed to the rapid growth in interest in eastern style of clothing. E.I.A therefore has a new addition to its clothing catalogue. The Punjabis, Sarees and Shararas (bridal wear). Due to the rapid selling and interest in this eastern fashion a need for men’s and boy’s wear were created. EIA therefore further expanded its catalogue to now include men’s and boys garments, bedding and Khussa shoes. East in Africa is an exclusive importer of exotic Eastern fashions.
