Jon's team and ours took off on I-80 westbound, both knowing that we would take I-880 south towards Alameda. We both knew that we were the first two teams, but we weren't sure if the other team knew the correct destination. I followed Jon to make sure he wasn't following us, then sped up near the split, and pretended to take I-80 east into San Francisco. At the last minute, I veered onto 880 when it became clear that Jon knew the correct way as well. We exited off of 880 before Jon, and arrived at Robert Crown Memorial Beach at exactly the same time as his team did.

After groping around in the darkness for a few minutes, Game Control called us, and informed us that Robert Crown beach was enormous; we should go to the alternate entrance about 2 miles down the road.

Our teams drove together there, and were greeted with this, on an 8 1/2 by 11 sheet of white paper:
