Coaches Words:
His name says it all. This man was all types of speedy, but what made him so good was he was all Funk. Playing probably out of posistion for his first few season, Speedy did everything he could to help his squad. Eventually this superstar player lifted the usually awful Anaheim MAvericks to a conference title. His numbers say it all, he was big and incredibly athletic, with the ability to drop a double nickle on you and hold you to 0. Kid had game.

Mickey Hahn

Coaches Words:
Mickey "Mouse" Hahn shocked the world the day he signed with the Annapolis Goldfish. Being a star from Dover HS, at the time Dover was in its absolute prime Mickey was seen as the final piece of the puzzel. He was to provide another scoring punch his freshmen year in which the Dover Strong Js would capture an NTT title, then go on to lead them into a new era. But Hahn flipped the script on signing day as he chose to take over from former Fish sharpshooter Vowels and join an up and coming Annapolis squad. For his career Mickey was simply amazing taking League FOY honours in his first season and then as a jnr he lead a Fish revolution as Annapolis captured their first ever Conference title. Anyone who ever doubted his shooting ability just has to check out the 3pt records page, nuf said.

Coaches Words:
Brandon Dallas "Maverick" was a gunner from day one. Always possessing a shoot first mentality he blazed a trail through four years at his lowly college. His desire to make it as a pro took over in the summer before his snr year as he worked as hard as possible to get himself to the level required. Then he just exploded all over the competition, not doing much to help his teams fortunes, but he helped himself big time going for 24 ppg and 6 rpg putting him on everyones scouting lists and eventually getting picked 11th int he simBA draft.

Andrew Gaze

Coaches Words:
The best player the much storied Boulder franchise has ever seen??? Maybe. Yes thats how good this kid was. Surprisingly he is the first ever Boulder player to make the ESI HOF, but thats just another testiment to Gaze's talent as its so rare for a Boulder player to dominate the way he as. Owl's players are so balanced and intrenched in teamwork that stars seldom emerge, but Gaze had that something special. His first two seasons were quiet as he played his role at sf to perfection, but with the graduation of Jeff Kimble he got his shot. Getting to start for Boulder at PG was his dream since he was a freshmen at Boulder HS, growing up he saw a number star Boulder Pg's such as Brady Mabry, Chuck Thomas, Eddie Loyd, Kimble .... Gaze unleashed an All League second team performance and took back to back conf 21 POY's. But his biggest accomplishment was his desire to win, starting all 96 games at Boulder he lost 14 times. The kid dominated.

Lenny Eichberger

Coaches Words:
Lenny Echiberger went through it all at Scranton, he was there in the tough early days when wins were like gold, and ended his career seeing Scranton go into the NTT as a #1 seed. He was a man mountain at the centre position having many big battles with the games best big men, and more often than not coming out on top. He was a clutch player always coming up with the big shot when the game was on the line, and was always there to knock down a big bomb when needed. Lenny capped off a great career by being selected in the first round at #18 in the SimBA Draft.

Season 16 Inductions

Kirk Garrison
Career Stats:

Final Season Stats: (League One Player of the Year, All-League 1st Team, Conference 5 Player of the Year, All Conference 5 First Team)

Coaches Words:
Last season there was Denney, who, some claimed was the best ever to play in the ESI. Now we know the best, there is no arguments anymore. Kirk Garrison is head and shoulders above all competition. He came in as a freshmen and led us to a sweet 16, he hasnt missed the NTT since. His final season the team was turned over to him, he went banana's. Smashing our schools single season record for scoring, he also played an all round game that has never been seen at this level. He will surely dominate on the Pro scene as some predict he will be re-united with former star teamate and fellow ESI hall of famer Rick Sears.

Coaches Words:
Pooh Logan will go down as one of the best players to ever come out of Chicago. He ran the team for four years from the point guard position. His beat year was his junior year when he w as named in the All League 4th team. Pooh w as one of the most unselfish basketball players you would see, he would always do his best to get all his team mates into the game, but when someone needed to step up and take the game by the scruff of the neck Pooh would always be the man. He capped off his career by being picked at #13 in the SimBA Draft.

Season 15 Inductions

Dwayne Denney

Coaches Words:
Dwayne Denney is arguably the greatest player to ever compete in an ESI tournament. During his 4 seasons at Harrisburg, he was the team, dominating every big man that he was put up against. He is one of very few players to reach the much coveted 200 block mark for his career. He dominated the boards from the very start of his career, pulling down 17 rebounds in his first ever match against the Boulder Owls. One disappointment that Dwayne has about his career is that he never led Harrisburg to the NTT, always falling a little short. Dwayne was rewarded in his senior year with all league 2nd team selection and was later picked at #4 in the SimBA draft. Dwayne will be sorely missed, but will always be remembered as a champion, and is a worthy member of the ESI Hall of Fame.

Coaches Words:
Marc Norwood is simply the greatest player in the history of Buccaneers Basketball. Ever since he came to the school as a respected yet unheralded SG from Hialeah High, Marc has always put the team first, yet his undeniable talents have still shone through at every possible opportunity. The team captain since his sophmore year, Marc lead the team to two conference titles, two conference tournament wins, two NTT appearances and a PTT final. From shooting, to ball handling, to defense, Marc had it all, and it is fitting that he is one of the inaugural inductees into the ESI Hall of Fame.

Coaches Words:
Rick was the rock that turned this school around. During his career Dover went to four straight NTT's including one sweet 16. He led the school to one conference title and two conference tournament wins. Individually he has claimed two conference player of the year awards, the conference freshmen of the year and four all conference first team selections.

Coaches Words:
Walter, the self-proclaimed 'Rainman', has been an institution at Kalamazoo University. His on-court presence, coupled with his personality, flair, and undeniable talent, has made him a fan favourite since his phenomenal freshman year. The only ESI player to score over 2000 pts in his career, Walter did it with ease, to go down in history as the biggest scorer ESI crowds have ever witnessed. Without doubt the highlight of Walter's career was his tournament leading performance in the 1st Annual Nall Mid-Season tourney, leading the Camouflage Men to a podium finish. Walter will be sorely missed, however his legacy will live on through the Hall of Fame.

Coaches Words:
Dale Demling - what can I say? This bloke was exciting with a capital E. Ever since he just blew up from no where to drop 51 as a freshman, we knew this kid just had that X-factor, that something special that you can't coach and you just thank your lucky stars when you notice your freshman has it. Together with Walter, Dale took this school from a laughing stock back to NTT performers. Dale had such a big heart, and to see the hurt in his eyes when we fell to Boulder in the 2nd round this year was heartbreaking - you could just tell Dale realised his time to leave had come, but he came to love the khaki green so much that not even an impending NBA contract could console him. Dale is without doubt a worthy inductee into the Hall of Fame.
