This happened about 6 years ago on a New Year's eve. A couple of lads were returning home and took a shortcut across the park.

Coming towards them were two German officers in uniform, the lads thought that perhaps they had been to a fancy dress party.

As soon as they had walked passed them they turned round and they had vanished into thin air!!

I have since found out that a Dornier bomber came down on this site and there were airman rescued from it.

A few years ago on the road between Needham Market and Stowmarket at the entrance to Badley Church track. A young motorcyclist was killed around 10.30pm in the evening one June.

Several people have reported seeing this motorcyclist appear from the track and that they have hit the motorcycle.  This seems to occur around June time but at about 2.30am in the morning for some reason.
