Earthquake Predictions
Based on Tectonic activity in the earthquake prone regions, statistical data, periodicity and various other earthquake related factors, we can predict occurrance of earthquake in the following regions in coming 2 months. Following predictions are largely accurate as they are based on modern scientific data analysis. Earthquake predictions below 5 in richter scale have not been shown. Earthquakes predictions for the month of July, August 2005 were largely accurate. Eartquakes predicted for the month of December 2005 were Nias region Indonesia magnitude 5-6 Southern California below mag 5 Japan above mag 6 -7
Earthquakes above 5 in magnitude are predicted. Our earthquake predictions for July '05 did not show any alarming earthquake anywhere in the world. However about 10 earthquakes above level 6 occurred in the month of July'05 as predicted by us.
No serious earthquake is predicted for March 2006
In one brief statement, it can be correctly said that the next big earthquake can not be predicted. What everyone expects to know is, where and when the next devastating earthquake will occur. What we know is there will be a few large earthquakes every year. None of them should affect us seriously. But no sure predictions can indicate the next damaging earthquake event. The approach woud be to collect earthquake data over all places all the time. That information tells us where more frequently earthquakes occur. Tsunami comes from oceans, so only islands and coastal regions will be affected. We dont expect a tsunami to take lives in himalayan region. No other physical events or forces of nature have any noticeable connection with earthquake explosions. Earthquakes, volcanoes and tsunamis are originated from inside the earth. Scientists and astrologers expect some relationship with another event. But there is none. So we do not want to claim anything or attempt to seriously take up the task of predictions of devastations. But we can certainly point out how we or even you can know the number and place of big earthquakes. This information comes easily by browsing last few years earthquake history. We have collected daily earthquake data right from year 2001 in this website. See bottom of this page.
