Rule of thumb. Sorry for the cliche, I do try to avoid them. But it fits too well.... Opposable thumbs are said to be what distinguishes intelligent humans from stupid animals but koalas have two thumbs on each hand-- are they twice as smart? I do not understand this planet at all. Much of the following should then be true by my logic, but people tell me much of it is not. Please help me to understand your species. If a human should cut them off they should then be stupid. Green thumb is quite appropriate, for you are smart w/plants, which are green. I like that, it makes sense. But when people are called all thumbs it is an insult. It seems it should mean they are a genius. I have heard of something called thumbcuffs instead of handcuffs; is this so you can't even think about getting away? Thumb wrestling is looked down upon in the upper IQ ranges, but to me it is a battle of wits. Hitchhikers are similarly, unfairly seen as inferior. Big thumbs at sporting events are artificial intelligence. Video games rot your brain, but they excersize your thumbs, so it's an even trade off, I feel. But further into computer terms, there is some logic-- the thumb is smaller than the brain, and a thumbnail is a smaller picture. I've divided the IQ-- I've heard a term "smart ass," so this part of your body has a brain as well? From what I can tell, 60 points head, 10 points each thumb, 20 points butt is average. But people tell me that if you have your thumb up your butt you are being lazy. Isn't it in fact a meeting of the minds? And a thumbs up is a good thing, but a butt up is mooning, and is an insult? The term "head butt" just baffles me and I can't even discuss it. Thumbprints are brain scans, apparantly. I just don't get it, I guess.

i told you there was more
or less
