Sprawl I'm not where I belong Too much noise Convertibles and SUV's violate the sanctity of my forest and glen They move to the country marvel at the fresh air wonder at the trees install subdivisions and superstores so they can enjoy it in comfort like admiring a pastoral scene painted on the subway wall Then they drive back to the sprawling city and tell their friends in the office what they're missing
The Man I Love The man I love exists only in flights of fancy or so it seemed to me... Indulgently disregarding friend's advice and premonitions I feared the dangers of the dreamtime and any love that lies waiting there. All systems down, heart on autopilot, I found a waking dream and an old love with a new face. The man I love and I tell the story again and wonder how it will end this time...
Life After Death He could have killled me but I can't cry. She would have paralyzed me and I can't cry. They never call... Why can't I cry? At least I didn't go back or die. Just wish I could cry...
For Mom You won't believe this but I love you. Right now you're certain this was typed by another's hands. You won't credit the sentiment to me but to the bad influence of the week...... I would call but I know you don't want me to. Besides, we'd only end up hurting each other again.... So I just wanted to say you're not an evil stepmother anymore than I'm a wicked changeling but I doubt we'll escape this faerie nightmare in this lifetime and I love you.....
