Amber
Amber: (a precious jewl formed by fossilised tree weeping, Amber is also a colour and scent)

Amber is the one with the motherly instincts in the tribe.
Amber is the heart and soul of the tribe, a tough cookie with a soft heart. Amber is usually willing to believe the best about people, she is a true leader and holds it together. Amber was in the very first episode of the tribe, where she and Dal had plans to find a dream home. Amber found Cloe there, she rescued her from the locos ad they ended up at the mall. When Bray brought Trudy in they were voted out, when Trudy went into labour Amber quickly let her stay and delivered the baby with Salene and Bray. Amber fell for Sasha first, Bray's jealously showed alot and despised Sasha for having a relationship with Amber. Amber agreed to leave with him, but when she went to say goodbye to the mall rats, she couldn't bring herself to leave. Amber was upset for a long time, she then followed the lead to hope island to find the answers about the virus with Lex, Bray, Dal and Bob.
Amber and Bray got together soon after with the 'eyelash scene'.
Amber and Bray finally had the happiness they deserved until Bray was taken prisioner by
Ebony, and they later were re-united on Eagle mountain. Amber was thought to have been killed in the explosion along with Zandra when the generator over heated and blew up the observatory. Bray, Ebony, Lex and Dal later were re-united with her when Pride brought them to his tribe, The Gaians, which she was 'Eagle' and their leader, at first she wanted nothing to do with them but then saw sense and returned to them and to help defeat the chosen. Amber eventually gave into her true feelings again and is back with Bray after being heartbroken, when  her closest friend, Dal was killed. Amber is strong and confident, she can do anything when she puts her mind to it. Amber strives to return the world to the way it was in a democratic world

Amber is played by Beth Allen:
Beth on Amber: "Amber's a bit of a leader, she's got good leadership qualities in her and when she came into the Mall she saw that this group of kids could actually be something good, and she tried to make it work...she really cared about the future"
Beth Allen has been acting since 1993 and her birthday is the 28th of May.
Beth was a member of the PAS children's theatre and had roles in Pinnochio and Hairy Maclary at Aucklands Aotea Centre. Beth played Princess Vara in the legend of william tell and followed to a lead role in William Shanter's 'A twist in the tail' - The Green Dress. Beth played Vanesa/Pilee in Xena as a guest role. She was Eva in 'Riding High' and Julie in the feature film 'The Ugly'
