Continuing Bodywork
Work progresses on the passenger side of the car.  When I first looked at it, it didn't look like a whole lot of work to get it straight again.  After I got into the door, I found that something on the inside of the car had dented the door outward in a couple of places, and the 'not so bad' gouge-scrape thing that went from the quarter panel, into the door, had caused some warping along the bottom of the door.  At the time of this photo, I have the door marked where the door needs the most attention.  A big flat surface, that wants to 'pop' in when you sand it is a real pain in the butt.
And after starring at the front apron for a long enough time, I decided the front end got hit sideways and had a horrible repair job by the PO.  I put a floor jack inside the trunk and widened it back out like it should be, and found about a quarter of an inch of bondo over most of the apron.  The PO didn't even try to knock out any of the dents, as you can see in these pics.
I'm no expert on bodywork, but geeze, even I dont just slap on a good thick layer of mud to cover everything that's wrong.  You know, I though I figured  that front apron looked like it stuck out too far.
