Looks like the front apron took a pounding on the driver side, but otherwise, pretty straight front end.
There's a hole in the middle of the underside of the dash, i'm not sure what it was for. Luckily, the car came with a section out of another bug, to fill it in. All switches are there, but the harness is shot. Need to find a saphire radio for the dash. The plan is to keep the dash as stock as possible.
The result of an engine fire. Luckily it's just surface rust. The metal is still straight, except for the driver rear fender. It'll have to be straightened out.
It's hard to see in this picture, but there is a small scrape type dent in the passenger door to quarter panel. Other than that, it's good to go.
Driver side's damned near straight already. I've got one antennae hole there in the quarter panel. The front fender is a bit chewed up as you can see.
You get a pretty good idea of how long this car sat out in the desert with the windows down, and the sunroof open. Pedal cluster does not move, and only the rear bench seat is there, no front seat frames.
Yes, you are looking at the back seat area. See the door jamb on the right? You cant see the floor for the dirt. The shop vac is going to get one hell of a work out cleaning out this beast.
