most beautiful and actractive areas
of the country where is in the high river valleys alongs the Mekong river
and its major attributaries.The
kingdom of Lane Xang(a millon elephant) was once situated in Luang prabang.
so it became the center of culture and religion for the people there. Luang
prabang is the place where attracts both Lao and foreingners to visit during
Lao new year, in mid April. It is celebrated with emphasis on features that
are diffrent from others regions.The city is so small where we can tour
on foot with pleasure.

the highest Royal ceremony and housed the funeral vehicle of the former

was constructed on top of the Phusi hill in 1804 A.D. during the reign
of king anurut , It is an impressive structure,fully renovated in 1994.
It is a meaning fully symbol as it stands in the centre of the town. At
mid-slope,and at the foot of the hill , are several religious sites including
caves,Buddha footprints and temples .Drumming on top of Phusi was once
a tradition of the Luang Prabang people. The sound of the drum,every three
hours could be heard for miles around.
