Race # 1 Twin State Speedway
What else can you ask for at the end of April? Sun, Warmth and the first night of racing! Couldn't be more perfect unless you unload the racecar head to the scales and hit the track only to have an excellent handing racecar with the most awesome power under the hood so far. This is how our day went. Earl took the car out for practice and was just amazed on how well the car felt. The power was unbelievable! A special thanks to RCS Diesel Service for building us a great motor! Also a special thanks to RSB Chassis for building us a great car! Earl started 8th in his heat and in 8 laps made his way up through the field to finish 3rd. The #27 of Chirs Bergeron finished first and the #28 of Ricky Bly finished 2nd. For the feature the line up had Bergeron starting on the pole with Josh Currier, Ricky Bly, Lenny Silver and Earl starting in the top 5 respectivly. The start of the race didnt go as well as the beginning of the day had as Earl spun on lap 2, sending him to the back of the field of 17 cars. The next few laps went smooth until another caution flag flew on lap 8, and then again on lap 10. By this time Earl had already made his way back up to 6th. On lap 21 the track lights decided to take a break, so they paused the race and let the Fireworks Fly. Man what a show they were. After the fireworks went off the track team got the lights back on and in working condition and let the Supers go back up into the pits and regroup while the Pro Quads raced. When the Supers headed back down on the track the line up looked like this: #27-Chris Bergeron, #28-Ricky Bly, #42-Josh Currier,#88- Lenny Silver, #0-Nate Young, #76-Earl Moul, #11-Nate Martell,#7- Ryan Bell, #70-Shawn Sullivan, and #57-Dave Marcotte taking up the top 10. Again with the bunched up cars there was a caution on the restart with Earl and Nate Young Spining in turn 4. With 8 laps to go the rest of the race went smoothly with the finish being:
1St-27 Chris Bergeron
2nd-28 Ricky Bly
3rd- 88 Lenny Silver
4th-42 Josh Currier
5th-0 Nate Young
