Raining for 4 days straight, stream level about 3 feet from top of bank.

Received call from “Joe” at PEMA saying that I needed to pay attention to the Flood Warning this time because the levels were getting high enough that Chambersburg would need to take the water treatment plant off line.

Called Gary, stopped at Wal-Mart in Carlisle to get supplies.  We packed bags, etc. and staged them in the Van.  Some minor flooding occurred at about 6 pm Monday evening about 3-4 inches coming up the road.  Most of the water was gone by 9 pm.

1
