1st thing this morning I decided that I was going to call the man who stole Katie’s change. I called the number and got his wife. I explained the situation to her, that my husband and I saw her husband steal the change from and 8 year old girl and that if it was back in the sled in front of my house by 5 pm I would not press charges. Other wise I was calling the police and prosecuting him to the fullest extent of the law.
Gary stayed home from work and took Kate to daycare so he could keep working on the removal of the wall materials.
The township came by and carted off the debris and trash that were outside. They also left 2 dumpsters, one in the park and one at Mark’s. The neighbors keep saying they never saw this many people even during Agnes in 1972. Well, what can I say, the Lt. Governor is amazing!
I went to work and decided that a better way to pass along the information Jerry ask me to share was a newsletter. Water was going to be available at the Green Township Building from 5-9. We understood that the water was safe to drink now we have to wonder. I made 150 copies and on my way home distributed them through Village Green Manor and in the mail boxes along Mickey Inn Lane houses. I got several of the people in the trailer park to help me. In the park we put them under people’s windshields.
Continued the clean up of the house and removal of drywall from Lauren’s room and bathroom. Front room and Living room are beautifully decorated in Pink Panther Pink Insulation.
At 9 pm the 1st Red Cross food wagon came through announcing to the neighbor hood they had hot food. We had eaten dinner about 3 hours earlier. The “Camp Abrahams” folks said it was good Kentucky fried chicken.
Here are some photos of the days accomplishment’s by Mr. O’Hara

Oh and the change was in the sled when I got home.
Lesson learned though, had Katie pick it all up and bring it into the
house. SIGH.
