FEMA HAS DECLARED FRANKLIN COUNTY A DISASTER AREA!!!!
FEMA application completed over morning break.
Another day at work listening to my cell mate tell me how horrible her flooding was. SIGH. I need to get out of here. Lauren and Glen came to work with me this morning so Lauren could take her permit test at lunch time. Decided mid morning to put in Personal leave. Left a noon.
Lauren passed her permit test but needs additional paperwork. SIGH. We celebrated at the Sushi place on 2nd Street in Harrisburg. Note to self, the Glen does not like Sushi. Stopped at Perks and Bribes to by weird presents for my husband.
Headed for home to meet with the insurance person. On the way there Susan of Franklin County Emergency Service called and said Jerry wanted me to let folks know that there was going to be a meeting with FEMA at 6:30 pm in Mickey Inn. I called her back and ask where because we weren�t going to be home. She didn�t know where.
We rounded up Sara and the boys and off to Wal-Mart with our vouchers.
WOW, 2 � hours and 4 carts later we leave Wal-Mart. We had to take 2 vans one for people one for things. I ran a bit amuck on towels but they were the only things we really lost. Most of them were in the dryer when we got flooded.
No pictures today. Red Cross chow wagon still missing.
