I am Judah Poe, I was one of many slaves held captive for many years till I met Lucas Knight and he saved me from myself and also the Brothers of Graez. I was left with a handfull of survivors from the great war. Most who fought that war died Human, elf, Dwarf, Vampire, Wraith. It did not matter living or dead. Most found final rest those long years of war. It lasted nearly 12 years. I had settled back twords Graez to see what could be rebuilt and who could still survive to rebuild the city. I was alone that day when I heard a yell, sounded like someone needed help. So I riding my horse took off after the sound and found a woman nearly dead eating the flesh of a corpse to stay alive as she drank the foul blood of the beast. I knew the yells of pain I heard were that of her heart dieing. I kneeled down and tried to speak with her. She looked up at me and drew a stick to fend me off. I spoke with her while keeping my distence. I told her she was dieing and that little will save her. She then told me her name and that she did not expect to live this long sence her whole family was killed in the war. She had gone to scavenging when her leg was maimed and that her heart felt weary of life knowing none were there to help her. I told her my name and offered to help her. I spoke with her and helped her heal as best I could knowing that she was to die soon any how from the rotten meat she ate for those weeks she was alone. She told me her name was Jezabelle and I told her mine. We spoke and I soon grew fond of her and spoke with her often and tried so hard to help her. When I could not help her no longer I then and only then offered her my way of life. She accepted and she was then embraced. She is now my daughter and I am her father. I moved to the Great house and had the dark tower torn down, using the rubble to rebuild the city. For 876 years we have lived in peace and harmony dealing with brigands every so often but nothing the Militia can not handle. I Judah Poe am Lord of Graez High Elder of the Council of Graez. |
