~Jenny�s POV~ Matt, Dominic, Neil and I were walking up to our hotel room after the reception. Ally was just ahead of us. We�d decided to let her have some time alone, never dreaming that she wouldn�t be safe on her own, of course. When we turned the corner, we heard shouting. �You little bitch! You were dancing with Dominic!� �I dance with Nick EVERY SINGLE DAY!� echoed Ally�s voice. �Not like that!� �Well� I may have been dancing with Nick, but you were sleeping with Lonna!� I started to run, but I wasn�t quick enough. By the time I got there, blood was dripping from Ally�s nose. �You asshole! You hit her!� I couldn�t resist, I drew my arm back and let fly the punch Matt had been teaching me, a right hook. It worked. Colin crumpled to the floor, dazed. By this point, the guys had caught up to us. Dominic got to Colin first, and kicked him solidly in the ribs. Then he rushed over to Ally. �Honey, are you alright?� �Nick? Ally seemed dazed, almost as if she were drunk, �Thanks for the dance�� She fainted into Dominic�s arms before she could finish her sentence. �We should get her to the hospital.� Matt and Neil were still having fun with Colin�s prone body. �Maybe we should bring him along as well,� I suggested. * * * ~Nick�s POV~ Dumping Colin in a chair by the nurse�s desk, we paused to check Ally in. My arms were getting tired, I�d been carrying Ally since she fainted. �Yes, can I help you?� A pretty woman with curling auburn hair asked Matt. �Please,� Jenny answered, �We�re just in town for a couple of days, but my friend got beat up and we didn�t know where else to go.� �That guy over there is your friend?� She asked, glancing at Colin. �No not anymore,� Neil said angrily, �She is.� He pointed to Ally who was still unconscious. �That guy is the attacker.� �Did you beat him up? Can I ask why?� �He was cheating on his girlfriend,� Matt muttered. The nurse glanced at Jenny, �You his girl honey?� �Nope, Ally is.� Jenny nodded in Ally�s direction. This conversation was getting more and more confusing, not to mention frustrating. I needed to put Ally down! �He was cheating on her? Why? She is sooo hot! Who was he cheating with?� Speak of the devil, at that point Lonna stomped into the room. �What on earth did you thugs do to my precious?� Lonna demanded in her halting English. �He started it!� cried Jenny. The nurse turned to me as the situation escalated into a full-fledged catfight. �That was what he cheated with? What an idiot!� �I know!� I agreed. Ally was taken up to a room by the nurse, who looked delighted with her job. I followed along behind. Twenty minutes later, a doctor had finished the examination and given Ally a shot to make sure she stayed asleep. The others had gone to get some coffee and I was alone with Ally. I sat in a chair next to her bed and watched her sleep for awhile, before leaning over and gently kissing her. She looked so young and innocent lying there. Picking up her hand, I held it softly. * * * ~Ally's POV~ Someone was holding my hand. I recognized the grip as belonging to Dominic. He�d been in my dream� What had been happening? What was he doing in my room? Daring my aching head, I cracked open my eyelids. The light stabbed into my eyes like twin knives. I was in a white room. Everything, sheets, floor, walls and curtains, was white. Nick was in a chair next to me. I moved slightly and he jerked awake. �What happened?� I murmured. My tongue felt swollen and awkward, �I had the strangest dream. We were dancing, and Colin beat me up, and you� you kissed me!� Dominic went pale. �Ummm� Well ugh. Umm. I wasn�t completely a dream,� he stammered, �We were dancing and Colin did beat you up and�Ummmm� �You did kiss me?� I guessed. �Well, sorta. How the hell do you remember that? You were unconscious!� He looked so cute flustered! Wait, cute? I must have been hit harder than I thought! Then again� �If I wasn�t conscious, then I guess I didn�t kiss you back eh?� I sat up and leaned forward. His eyes met mine right before I gently brushed his lips. They were warm and soft and� As the kiss deepened the door slammed open. �Ah ha!� crowed Jenny, �About time!� She and Matt exchanged high-fives. Nick and I broke apart guiltily. �Well, you�re feeling better I see�� Neil said somewhat sarcastically. An auburn-haired nurse entered the room. �Damn! You are straight. Oh well. Congratulations, you two�and you�re really hot!� �Ummm.. thanks, I think�� I responded. The puzzled expression on my face must have been amusing to the others, because Jenny burst into a hysterical fit of laughter. �Why are you people all here? And stop looking at me, you�re freaking me out!� I tried to sit up, but was restrained by the nurse, who made sure to hold me down for a few extra seconds. Nick gave her a strange look. �Alright, alright. I�m leaving! If you ever realize that straight is boring give me a call. You�re free to leave as soon as you fill out this paperwork. I�ll miss you!� And that was that.
