The questions & responses for the following Hogwarts faculty will be posted on this page:

Albus Dumbledore
Headmaster, amongst other things
(Don't bother him too often, kids. He has many things to do.)

Minerva McGonagall
Deputy Headmistress, Head of Gryffindor, Transfiguration Professor
(She and I don't get on well, but we can tolerate each other. But please don't make me waste her time!)

Severus Snape
Head of Slytherin, Potions Master
(He's my mentor, and I'm with him most of the time. Easy access. But I will protect him. Don't be stupid, kiddos.)

Professor Flitwick
Head of Ravenclaw, Charms Professor
(He's a sweet little thing, isn't he? :-) Smart as all get out, too.)

Professor Sprout
Head of Hufflepuff, Herbology Professor
(We don't get along too well, but Sev-- I mean Professor Snape says it's imperative that we have a strong professional relationship with her, so... yeah.)

Questions will be in gold, and responses in green. (My personal responses will be smaller type than the professors'.)

So far, I've only recieved questions for Professor Snape. Scroll down for the fun.

Professor, do you and you assistant need a vacation? Because  I can orgonize both of your offices and I could help grade papers if you would like. :)

                            Thank you for reading
                                 Rebekah Snape
                                     Slytherin yr 2

Rebekah Snape,

I assure you that I do not need a vacation, and my "assistant" most certainly does not need one, either. Her purpose is to keep my office and all its contents in order, among other things, and grading papers is an activity solely for a professor. Students are here to learn; leave the teaching to your superiors, young lady.

If you are attempting to get on my good side, I suggest you desist. It is very unbecoming of a Slytherin. Gryffindors may indulge in such dunderheaded activities, but I expect more from my own house. Your time would be better spent studying.

                                          Professor S. Snape

Comments from the apprentice: I appreciated the offer myself, and was quite pleased that such a considerate student existed, but the professor being who he is, he steadfastly refused the idea, certain that the girl had some sort of ulterior motives. Perhaps she does want to get on his good side, but I can hardly blame her. It's terrible when one is not. Just look at Mr. Potter.
The professor, of course, was much more polite in his written response (posted above), but his immediate response was a bit stronger. I shall not repeat what he said to me, because (1) it was meant for my ears only and I will not betray his trust in me, and (2) students and other young and sensitive eyes may be reading this. I will also not repeat his harsh words of disapproval about her name when I commented on it. He refused to acknowledge any possible relation to the child. I have taken to using it against him. *smirk*

To Rebekah: Thank you for your kind offer! I wish I could accept. A vacation would be quite lovely, but I'm sure you understand. It would be improper for the potions master to take leave during the school term. He has lessons to teach, and I, too, have much work to do.

Hi I am a fourth year in Slytherin and I am wondering, did Snape ever be a follower of the all mighty Voldermort, and if so why did he stop????
   P.S
My names Matt and I am a the next Voldermort!!

Note to all: I will not take such a question to the professor. Even if this had been somewhat recognizable as English, the insult in the insinuations are too much to bear. This is what I mean when I say I will protect my mentor, kids.  I will not respond to something like this, especially not when the language is in such a state. Granted, if English isn't your first language, I'll gladly be more forgiving, but make sure to mention it or it will just annoy me and I'll ignore it.

However, there is one thing I cannot forgive. No matter what your native language, Lord Voldemort's name is misspelled. Shame on you.

Now, here's my personal response:

Get over yourself, kid. You are NOT the next Voldemort, not with incompetency like that. How did you make it to your fourth year? Voldemort would Avada Kedavra your behind into the next century if you even tried.

I will not dignify your question about the professor with any sort of answer.

And Slytherin!?! I seriously doubt that. Slytherins wouldn't be foolish enough to ask something so dunderheaded. They have more subtle ways of obtaining information. Cunning is the mark of a Slytherin, not evil. And yes, there is a difference.

I am trying to attain my Potion Master's degree in the United States. One of the many requirements, as you are no doubt aware of, is a dissertation upon a subject of potions. Though I have done much study into my subject, the nature and use of Polyjuice Potions, I feel that my thesis would be strengthened if I interviewed an expert. If I were to send you my outline, would it be possible for you to comment upon my paper, and make any other comments you feel would improve the quality of the paper? I would be much appreciative, but I would understand if you are occupied.

                              Much respect,
                                             Ellyndia McGovern III

Ms. McGovern,

You are welcome to send your paper to me, but I cannot promise I will have an opportunity to personally review it. The examinations are nearly upon my students and my schedule is quite full.

I can, however, have my apprentice take a look for you. I assure you that she is quite an expert herself, else she would not hold her current position with me. I have spent much time in her training and am confident in her capablities to asisst you with your work.

If she sees any glaring errors or has any suggestions, she will certainly inform me quickly and I will take some time to review her findings.

Otherwise, should an opportunity arise, I will make an effort to review it myself, but I cannot garauntee it.

Whatever you decide, please direct any further correspondence with my apprentice, Miss Erlina. I do not have the time to make any further arrangements on the matter.

                                                   Professor S. Snape

From the apprentice: Ms. McGovern, you made an entry in the guestbook but unfortunately, Yahoo has mangled it and I am unable to read it. I would appreciate it if you would either re-sign or send an owl with your entry to me personally. Thank you in advance.
