From Big Sur was the collaboration of Wesley Tkaczyk and Kevin Ream that produced an album together in late 2006, early 2007. At the end of 2007 the pair started production on the Haunted Houses album with the addition of Adam Jones.  This trio of life long friends wrote and recorded the Haunted Houses album melting together their individual influences.
