SCOTLAND

Scotland my background. My family came to Canada from Aberdeen Scotland. Although I have never been to Scotland I feel a strong connection to my heritage. My family Clan is MaDoanald Clan Ranald You can kinda see the tartan in my picture. Our family motto is my hope is never lost in thee. My family has passed down stories of fighting in Africa and in Bannokburn. Our family changed their name after the massacre of Glenco against the Campbells. I celebrate every Robbie Burns Day with Haggis and Whiskey and wear my kilt proud to be a transplanted Scottish-Canadian.
