A Hoy Matey! The Pinta's Yonder Below!
The Pinta was captained by Martin Alonso Pinzon, a leading mariner from the town of Moguer in Andalucia. It most likely weighed 70 tons, although not much is known about the Pinta itself. The length of the Pinta was 17 meters, keel had a length of about 13 meters, beam of about 5 meters, and a depth of about 2 meters. The ship most likely had not one, not two, but THREE masts (yes three), and the sails resembled the sails of the Santa Maria.
