| This past March, Tom, Luana and Felicia came down to visit from Jacksonville. While they were here, we went to the 12 Hours of Sebring, a LeMans race held every year in Sebring, Florida. We had great field position for watching the race. The cars ranged from the merely exotic, like Corvettes and Porches, to the wildly expensive, like the Bentley 8 cars. The Bentley 8s, of which there were two, were easily the fastest cars on the course. Due to a penalty for some petty thing like ground clearance, both Bentleys had to start at the back of the pack. In short order, they were in second and third place.. |
