| A website dedicated to the Dutch Black Metal Underground HAATSTRIJD BIOGRAPHY Haatstrijd was founded in 2001 by Nachtvorst as a solo project. Two demos were released in the second year of its diabolical existance: 'Demo 2002' and the 'Nachtgruwel' demo. Both also appeared on a compilation tape bearing the name 'Zwart Bloed'. This piece was released on the Dutch label Graf Records, with which co-operating was everything but pleasant because of many reasons, such as being ripped off by the inferior bastard... In March 2003 the 'Suicide Campaign' split tape was released by the Belgian label Soldiers Of Sudarium, of which Theriomorph soon joined to desecrate the bass. Later in 2003, Hellchrist XUL (Funeral Winds, Domini Inferi) and Balgradon XUL (Funeral Winds, Infinity) joined ranks to bring terror and evil amongst you pityful creatures. With this lineup, Haatstrijd performed on the Unie Van Atregt festival on 29-05-2003, of which a live registration was released in August 2003. Early 2004, Haatstrijd signed to Sadolust Records, which planned to release the long-announced 7" EP 'Satansplaag' in May 2004.
