| A website dedicated to the Dutch Black Metal Underground FUNERAL WINDS BIOGRAPHY Funeral Winds was founded in 1991. A year later, the first demo was released. This demo was not for sale, only a few copies were made and sent to several magazines and bands. In 1993, the second demo 'La Majeste Infernale' was released and the year after followed the third demo 'Resurrection' and a 7" single. The band was asked to perform on the Strashydto festival in Poland, of which a video entitled 'Live In Poland' was released. The band got signed to Lethal Records for two albums, of which the first one 'Godslayer XUL' was planned to be released in the summer of 1995. Hellchrist XUL though was arrested for a manslaughter attempt and Lethal Records was declared bankrupt, Therefore 'Godslayer XUL' was released by Daimonion Records in 1998, three years later as planned. The second full length 'Koude Haat' was released February 2004 by Death To Mankind Records. Other releases are the 'Screaming For Resurrection' LP (containing the 'Resurrection' demo and the Funeral Winds-tracks from the split-CD with Abigail) and a 4-way split 7" EP with Ad Hominem, Leviathan and Eternity. The most recent full length album ' Nexion XUL - The Cursed Bloodline' was released by Sadolust Records in July 2007.
