Menley currently resides in a loving, suburban home just outside of Toronto, Ontario.  Aside from his "human family", he shares the house with a few furry and feathered "siblings".  Despite his high energy, Menley is surprisingly gentle with the smaller animals, including Pebbles (rabbit), Achilles (chinchilla), Panda (guinea pig), Perseus (English budgie), Lemon and Meringue (canaries).  Menley is also the protector and best friend of his "cousin" Kodie (my sister's Coton de Tulear).  He may be a working dog, but he's every bit the "cuddly bear" he portrays!

Featured below are short biographies of Menley's biological family, including parents Manny and Tenny, along with siblings Painter, Macy, Mandy, Madison, and Tessa.  With
BISS Can.Am.Ch. Vanderbilt's Warpaint, ROMC (HEERO) as their double grandfather, this litter constitutes one fancy bunch!!

"MANNY" was Top Winning Samoyed Puppy in Canada for 2003, Award of Merit and BOS in Sweepstakes at the SAC National Specialty in 2004,  a BEST IN SHOW winner, Third Top Winning Samoyed in Canada for 2005, and one of the very first dogs to be awarded with the prestigious title of GRAND CHAMPION! In 2008, Manny outdid himself yet again by earning his Rally Excellent title. Born with a natural and radiant presence, he just has that intangible quality that makes it SO hard to look away! We are grateful that Manny has instilled many of his exquisite traits in his kids.
"TENNY" was BEST IN SWEEPSTAKES at the SAC National Specialty in 2004.  A half-sister of Manny, Tenny is well-known for her lovely set of shoulders and producing of quality offspring.  Four Champions and another pointed to date (all sired by Manny), her second litter by Fonzie is filled with promise.  Visit Dushanbe's nursery for more information on Menley's half-siblings.

"MACY" received her Championship shortly after Menley, winning 3 x BPIG and a BEST PUPPY IN SHOW along the way! Macy is pictured above on her big day with owner and co-breeder Linda Johnson, the same day daddy Manny won Group 1st (both at the Cobequid Dog Club Shows).  Her success was foretold at an early age and affirmed when she won Match Group 1st and Best Puppy In Match when she was barely six months of age.
"PAINTER" is co-owned by Allison Baker and Judi and Blair Elford.  He resides in the States with Allison and is Menley's only litterbrother.  At the Central Florida Samoyed Fanciers Specialty, Painter was RWD (to a 5-point major) and earned points going BW's and BB's (one over Specials).  In Sept. 2006, he was Best In Sweepstakes and BW for a 4-point major at the Greater Atlanta Samoyed Specialty.  Painter is pictured as a new Champion the following day, after picking up a 3-point major by going BW!
"MADISON" is pictured above with owner and co-breeder Judi Elford, winning BW/BPIG at her debut! She took home a 3-point major going WB her first trip down to the States and finished her Canadian Championship easily with another BPIG and even winning over an Am. BISS winner! Madison and Menley had a chance to "reunite" at the Norfolk Shows, where Maddy was WB the two days she was entered and Menley was BB and 3 x BW's!!
"MANDY" lives with co-breeder/owner Linda Johnson in Halifax, Nova Scotia and is pictured above at 11 months.  While her sister, Macy, was winning the big ribbons, Mandy went to the shows for training.  Sure enough, Mandy decided to begin the quest for her Championship title by beating Macy!
"TESSA" is owned by Tim Wu and, like Menley and Madison, also lives in Ontario.  She has a big, fancy coat and sports some of those same good looks that run in the family. Menley had the pleasure of meeting sister Tessa for an outdoor excursion this summer and they had a blast together!!
