| In the summer of 2001 the Du Quoin
Tourism Commission began to sponser a series of concert events held in
Keyes City Park. The concerts were held again in 2002. There has been an
excellent turnout for the events so far. The shows are provided to offer
family entertainment to the people of Southern Illinois. The concerts are
free to the public. People are encouraged to bring a picinic dinner with
them, as well as blankets or chairs to sit on. Alcohol is strictly prohibited
in the park by city law. If you would like further information on the concerts
please contact the Du Quoin Park Board or the Du Quoin Tourism Commission.
