The first style I used was a style by Vincent Van Gogh. Van Gogh used the emotions that he felt through disortation of color to convey an oppressive atmosphere of evil. This style had a steeply tilted perspective. He usually used curving lines and bright complementary colors. The second style I used in my Andy Warhol painting was Abstract Expression, also known as action painting. This style is created by laying the canvas flat on the floor, taking paint, and fling paint around the canvas with speed and velocity. This style was taken from autoism, also called chance. One of the artists that made a major contribution to this style was Jackson Pollock. Pollock was one of the leaders of the abstract expressionism, New York school of art. Pollock created art that was energy based visible. The next style I used was Impressionism. This style of painting uses effects of light and color. Famous people that painted in this kind of style were Claude Monet and Edward Manet. Where you can see the quick breath strokes being painted up and down with dabs of color.
