Tallina's Shoe Guide I went crazy one day and ordered a bunch of shoes from Tallina's, with some help from the list at DOA. I decided to elaborate just a little (and include pictures for easier searching!) on the shoes I had already ordered. I hope this helps somebody! The shoes that fit, work well on both Little Fair and MSD. Their foot width is the same, and length is only 1/16" off, LF being 2 1/16" long, and MSD feet are 2 2/16. I would go for a shoe that is 2 3/16 - 2 1/4" for a good fit.  Sporty High-Tops - S516 ---size 5These are my favorites. ^_^ I have two pairs (brown and black) and my dolls have with and without really thick socks, and they look about the same. o_O The black shoes came with brown laces, and vice versa.. maybe it was just my pairs, but if you order only one, I'd be aware of this.  SM40/Fancy Ice Skates - SM40 ----size 4This was a bit of an indulgence on my part, but I really wanted to get them just in case my dolls went out ice skating (..in Florida??) The lack of a tounge is annoying, because if you don't lace them tight enough, thieir skin/socks show through. This size is a bit close at the toe, and is a bit of a squeeze with thick socks.  S401/Sport Shoe - S401 ---- size 6These are the shoes that made me decide my dolls needed them. :sheepish grin: I got pink with a suede-ish toe, and blue with a regular toe. The blue pair refuses to go on my doll's foot, because the toe won't stretch that extra little bit needed to fit the foot. The toes make a slight bump. I'd try a 7, but I'm satisfied with how they fit my dolls.  S445/Suede V-Strap Shoes - S445 size -- 8I really like these shoes. They fit my dolls well, with thin socks/tights, or w/o any at all (tacky~) I don't dig the bow too much, but I'd love to buy some more in different colors.  S293/Dressy Buckle Shoe - S293 ---- size 6These are really cute shoes, and if they were just 1/16" longer they'd look perfect. They will go on the dolls foot, but their toes stick out and it looks a bit weird. I think the next size up would be too large, though. :( pity.  S501/Cowboy Boots with Fringe - S514 --- size 6I got these to balance out the number of boys shoes to girls. Too bad my boy doll hates them.. XD I was after the brown pair (S514) but these are what I got instead. oh well! The width of the ankle most definately makes them look like doll shoes (as opposed to making them look like mini-people<-- that was my goal.) but besides that they fit really well, even with thick socks. S211/Patent leather-Like Boys Shoes - S211 size 6 S238/Pretty Strap Shoe - S238 --- size 6 ^_^* These didn't fit at all. They were way too small, and wouldn't go on my dolls feet at all. I should have measured a bit better.. Though I think the next size up would be too large. :/ |
