Moving back around to the front you wedge yourself against the tomb once more, gripping firmly into the handholds. After several deep breaths, you count to three and begin to heave once more.

Screwing your eyes shut and straining your muscles to the limit, the stone slab inches forward, grinding and protesting with every tiny scrape. Several minutes of concerted effort late,r you have only moved it about a foot.

You unhook yourself, wipe your sweating brow, and carry on. It takes you at least ten minutes to pull the block to the balancing point. Suddenly it begins to tip, and you whip your fingers out of the crack and hop backwards.

Without a sound, the sarcophagus lid slowly lifts up from the other end, and then comes sliding down towards you, crashing into the ground with a noisy smash and scraping a little further.

Taking a moment to rest, you rub your protesting arms, legs and back, before moving forward to find out what wonders you have unearthed.
