ANNUAL
GARAGE SALE
Saturday-May 21st
It’s
that time of year again and it seems as if
Spring will finally make its appearance.
Along with spring comes the annual
spring cleaning.
Don’t throw away unwanted items.
Save them for the annual Dunbarton
Pines Garage Sale.
This
year the sale is scheduled for Saturday, May
21st from 9 AM until 4 PM.
As in the past, those who would like
to open up their garage Friday night at 7:30
PM for a neighborhood preview sale are
welcomed.
Perhaps you can make a sale that
night.
Everyone, feel free to browse your
neighbors? garage sale Friday night. You may find that special item and will have first dibs on it
before the Saturday crowd arrives.
Again,
we are asking participants to pay $3.00 to
cover advertising costs and map printing.
For those of you new to the sub, we
print a map indicating all garage sale
participants so that the buyers know where
to go.
The maps are located strategically at
participating homes near the entrances.
The
deadline for payment is Thursday, May 19th.
This allows time to have the maps
printed.
Payments can be sent to Karen Harris,
45235 Courtview Trail or dropped off at the
house.
If you have any questions, contact
Karen at 248-380-3752.
The website has links to various community sites, the latest
subdivision newsletter and a calendar of events.
You can also send an email to the board from the website.
This website is for the benefit of our subdivision and is maintained by the sub.
Therefore, we have the ability to make changes to better suit our needs.
Please take a look at the website and tell us what you think.
Just a note, the Dunbarton Pines Young Adults for Hire will not be posted
on the internet for their safety. If you need to call one of these young
adults, contact the Secretary for information.

Neighborhood Babysitting Co-op?
The babysitting co-op is a group of 20
mothers who share caregiver
responsibilities to Dunbarton, Royal
Crown and Autumn Park neighbors.
The Co-op is geared to provide daytime

new arrival through kindergarten.
Call Susan Reilly-Tracz (248-380-0998)

Any
young adult in our subdivision who would
like to let our neighbors know you are
willing to work, be it yard work,
babysitting or miscellaneous jobs, you
may advertise in this newsletter by
calling or writing Karen Harris, 45235
Courtview Trail, phone 248-380-3752, or
email her at [email protected].
The subdivision now owns 2 tents that are available to all residents for rental.
Each tent rents for $25. If you are one of our many volunteers, the rental is free.
To reserve a tent or two for your upcoming events,
contact Jim Oliver at 248-380-7750.
This
past fall, it was brought to our
attention that there were bags of empty
beer and pop cans in the wooded area of
our commons. We also found a
cooler and empty pizza boxes.
Please let your family know it is
inappropriate to use the commons as a
dumping ground.
