| There was a MD joint church retreat in the summer of 1997, where various churches from the baltimore-washington area came together. The praise band consisted of people from these different churches who had hearts for praising our God. After the retreat, they wanted to continue such a blessed meeting, so Dunamis praise band began. Dunamis praise and worship ministry exists to glorify God by leading the young generation to Jesus Christ through praise and prayer. Dunamis also encourages and motivates these young people to praise God in their individual local churches.
