Lisa and others don their parkas.
While walking, Lisa and I pondered ... who should we ask for ... Moses or Noah??
We decided on Moses. He did lead MULTITUDES out of harms way.
And with 2700 women walking, Noah would have only been able to save one of us!!!! |

Even with all that rain, it didn't stop the Sugar Hill Elementary students from coming out to support us. Those smiling faces are enough to put a little more bounce in your step on the dreariest of days.
Thank You & We Love You ... SUGAR HILL ELEMENTARY!!! |

Did I mention it was raining??
Have you ever seen 2700 pairs of pruny feet??
With all that water, even the most moleskin-clad feet were subject to blisters on the first day.
Here, Lisa preps her feet for the remainder of the water-logged day. |

And GOD said ... "Let the waters under Heaven be gathered together into one place ... "
And this place shall be called ATLANTA???
Well ... my thinking was that God said, "Hmmm ... I can't do anything about the rain. It is, in fact, in answer to YOUR prayers for relief from the rather dry summer. However ... I CAN do something about the lightening."
And there was rain without lightening ... LOTS OF RAIN. Evening passed and morning came. That was the first day. |
