| Place of birth: Tokyo, Star sign: Aeris, blood type B. Kome was transferred without her knowledge from the Ground Self Defence Force to the TAC. Usually the first into any conflict involving Aragami, Kome sometimes is a little careless where she aims. Extremely protective of her equipment and a firm believer in the motto "If you still have bullets, keep shooting". |

| Place of birth: Miyagi prefecture, Star sign: Pisces, blood type:O Yoshiki was a computer specialist for the Economic Planning Agency, but he was head hunted for the TAC. Because of this, he has little/no experience of combat and often panics in the field. Excels at his role of information gathering and processing in the TAC, although he has little ability at discovering new insights about the Aragami (which is Matsudaira's field) |
| Place of birth: Aichi prefecture, Star sign: Capricorn, blood type:A. Biotechnology specialist and was transferred from the Science and Technology Agency. Like Yaegashi, she rarely works in the field, although she doesn't panic like he does when she forced to do so. Unlike Yaegashi, she specialises in analysing the Aragami specifically. Highly dedicated to her work, to the expense of both her family and personal life - she is divorced with visitation rights to her son, Jun. |
| Matsudaira Azusa |
| Plant-like, shapeshifitng creatures which have been plaguing mankind since the beginning of time. Due to their plant-like nature, they are more active during the night, thus giving rise to the legends of demons and ghosts being nocturnal. Their true form are blue beads, but they can possess living matter and give it life. With non-sentient animals, the resulting personality is based from the possessed animal's nature (for example a predatory animal will continually hunt for food), but if a sentient creature is possessed, a battle of wills take place -either the Aragami to the creature will be in control, there is no gestalt personality. |
| Aragami |
| A human/Aragami hybrid, with the human side superior. His family was murdered by an ancient Aragami when he was very young. The Aragami, Yamata no Orochi, then implanted 7 beads into him and ordered him to protect the Kushinada from humans who would sacrifice her to banish the Aragami. Kusanagi looked after Kaede for many years, but after she disappeared, he found and tried to kill Momiji to be free of his curse. After she saved his life though, Kusanagi has since decided to resume his role of protecting the Kushinada, although he prefers to hunt and kill Aragami. Although he often makes fun of Momiji, he is highly protective of her, to the extent that he will use his body as a shield to defend her. He often watches over her in secret from the shadows. His feelings towards Momiji are unknown, although he still has strong feelings towards Kaede. |
