6-1-06...Finally something worth noting because it is so utterly stupid. Apparently, Harry Potter is now being blamed for violence in teenage girls. Why... because Hermione can be a ... "witch" when it comes to Ron... *rolls eyes* If you want to read more on this psycho mumbo-jumbo... clicky here-y.

In other news (late; kinda old news) There has been a casting change. Helen McCrory will no longer be playing Belatrix in the 5th movie. Instead Helena Bonham Carter will be taking the role.
Apple Brook, will be playing the subsitute care of magical creatures teacher Professor Grubbly-Plank. And last but not least we have a young Lupin played by James Utechin. Young Sirius Black by a James Walters. And Young Snape by Alec Hopkins.
And Apparently... Bane the centaur will be played by/or voiced by (we don't know) Jason Piper. That's all the casting news I have.

3-25-06...Well this is what happens when friends get together and are bored. We've created a Role playing game on myspace for the Marauders. If anyone wants to participate they can, just go to this address RPG! Baby!
Oh and I'll post an officail link the next time I make a layout because it's too much of a hastle to manage with this one. gah...

3-21-06...So far filming for OOTP has begun. And there was a broadcast of some of it on the CBBC. This is some of what was said in the short interviews:
"I was meant to film the kiss last week, but I had gastric flu, so Katie, umm, well she may have escaped this time... but I'll catch her one day!" Said Dan about the kissing scene with Cho. Katie (Cho) said that she was both excited and nervous about the kiss, which she's been saying this whole time. While, Emma stated that she would be sniggering in the background. The filming of that particular scene has been postponed for a few weeks. But will be done eventually.
Recently, the crew has been filming the scenes involving the Room of Requirement and the Forbidden Forest. This includes the part where the centaurs rampage after Umbridge. Whoo hoo... one of the best scenes.
David Heyman said the film would be released either summer or fall of 2007, and the sixth film would be out late 2008. He also mentioned that a trailer should be revealed by the end of this year. Which is all good, but these kids aren't getting any younger.

3-21-06...Gary Oldman is in the movie! Booya.
Both Gary and his manager are delighted with the announcement saying: "It's a wonderful role. Gary read the script last night, and he read part of it to me on the phone this morning. The end of the story is: Gary's in it. It's a terrific script, and he's so happy to be back."

3-20-06...Huge news! Apparently WB has not officailly cast Gary Oldman to retake his role as Sirius Black yet. According to Douglas Urbanski of the Douglas Management Group (who represents Oldman), WB hasn't been keen on the idea of Oldman returning to his role in OOTP, since the beginning, even though Oldman requests small payment.Because of this Urbanski has stated that unless WB offers him the role by next week, Oldman won't consider returning as Black.
Which is bullocks on both parts if you ask me. Granted I didn't agree with the casting to begin with he should still continue with the role. He is now Sirius Black for the movies... besides he's got one movie left and it's VERY important you dumbasses at WB!

3-17-06...Happy St. Patty's Day!
Now that I've got that out of the way onto the news. They've started filming OOTP and have done some of the scenes with the centaurs and Gawp so they won't be cutting that out which is good. I'm sure quidditch will be axed a bit then. Gir. Also they'll be shooting until May and then they'll be breaking for two months so the actors can thake their exams (which are very important but still they aren't getting any younger) and then they're going to regroup and start filming back up in July which will continue until the end of the year basically.
That's all I've got for news right now.

Richard Leaf will be playing Dawlish (a ministry Auror)
Nick Shim will be playing Zacharius Smith
So far no young Sirius or young Remus has been comfirmed. But since they've cast a Peter there will most likely be the other two as well.

2-5-06...Now you can preorder GOF on DVD. Kick bum eh. It's due out March 7th so we only have a few more weeks to wait. Yay! Oh and to make it even spiffier Amazon.com has a extra behind the scenes clip. You can veiw that here.

2-4-06...More updates to the site. I added a new story and continuation of the The Complete Users Guide to Marauding. Haunted is being revamped so if parts of it don't appear to make sense bare with me I just don't want to unlink all the pages to remake them again later. So that's that.

2-3-06...MTV has a little segment on Dan's preperation for the new film OOTP and this is what they (and he) had to say on the matter:
Radcliffe prepared for "Phoenix" by meeting with a bereavement counselor so he could understand survivor's guilt, since his two main relationships in this film � with his godfather Sirius Black and new girlfriend Cho Chang � are grounded in a mutual need to bond with another person after a great, shared loss.

"Sirius is clinging on to James (Harry's father and Sirius' best friend) through me, and I'm trying to know my father through him," Radcliffe said. "The same thing happens with me and Cho. I was the last person there when her last boyfriend, Cedric, was killed."

2-2-06...I got the new layout up. It's not my artwork. I just found it and liked it. I have no clue who it's by. But whatever. It proves to serve both my Hercules obsession and my Harry one so I'm happy. If you don't understand what I'm talking about you really need to watch Disney's Hercules.

2-2-06... The filming for Order of the Pheonix is said to be starting next week. Which is kickass cuzz the sooner they start the better. :) Dan and them are not getting any younger you know?
Also with that, there are more casting updates.
Luna Lovegood will be played by 14-year-old Evanna Lynch from Ireland.
Tonks will be played by Natalia Tena.
Imelda Staunton will play Umbridge.
Finally, Bellatrix will be played by Helen McCrory.
Oh and on a not so officail front Kathryn Hunter is rumored to be playing Mrs. Figg.

1-30-06...They have cast Kingsley Shacklebolt and young James Potter for Order of the Pheonix! Shacklebolt will be played by George Harris and James will be played by newbie, Robbie Jarvis! So that means that they are doing Snapes Worst Memory and they won't be skipping that! YAY!

I would love to see what it says cuzz I'd truly love to know what Sirius' parents names were. And since it's in her handwriting it's on there and they are not showing it on that blasted picture. GIR!!! but then I guess they do want people to bet on it at auction.
On the update front again I'm sorry it's been lacking I just haven't seen anything interresting and I have no clue what I want to do with the layout so we will see.There will be more updates I promise.

1-5-06... Firstly, I want to wish you all a belated Happy Christmas, and a untimely Happy New Year. But I do have news worthy of posting even if you could find it elsewhere. I just thought Rowlings posting on her site was too clever to leave out here. Because I too know that feeling.
2. Do not lose any more notebooks. After a somewhat panicky few weeks I have finally located a missing notebook. As always when I mislay these things, I had been 'remembering', in its absence, that it contained notes so essential and ideas so imaginative that I would never be able to duplicate them, and the whole of the next book would be impoverished if they were never found. Now that I have said notebook beside me on this desk, however, I see that it contains few useful nuggets amid a lot of complete dross. Nevertheless, the stress I endured while believing it to be the notebook equivalent of the Holy Grail was enough to remind me that I must take better care of my working materials.
too clever. That's it for posts right now. And I promise there will be more. I have lots planned and I still have to get my new Marauding story up here. But today I am far to busy to do any texting. Oh and there will be a new layout once I've saddled myself down and get it drawn. This year I want the updates to come from my own hands. I wanted that originally but never got around to it. bummer.
