Listening to House of Smoke and Mirrors: Matthew Good
<peep>
Lots of news boys and girls, firstly, today is my birthday. Im officially 21 now. What does that really mean? I've been breathing air for 21 years really.  I suppose it means more to other people than it really means to me. I wrote a song last night , i was inspired by watching a concert of a young artist and I thought to myself, maybe one day I could play a gig and people would clap (=D>). So yeah, I wrote a song. I think I will post the lyrics once its complete. I need to chuck the verse. It doesnt say what I want to say in the way I want to say it. Plus I think the meter for it is off a bit.  I also want to change one of the chords in it cause it is SLIGHTLY off.

Ok more news: I bought the Matthew Good CD (Avalanche) and it is wonderful.  I like all the songs on the album and I am going to see his concert  in two weeks :o) I hope to get near front row, but we'll see. I'm pretty short  so i think i could squeeze my way through to the front and people wont be too disappointed at me.  If I have a shiner in two weeks, we'll know different.

I went to Vancouver a couple weeks back, havent said much about it on here, so here is how it went. Basically hung out at UBC and downtown during my whole visit, which are the parts of  Vancouver that I know.  Then took two days in Victoria, which I reccomend to anyone. Its a very nice place.   I was surprised at the nightlife in Vancouver, its rampant.  There are clubs everywhere and SOOOOO many people my age. I was really surprised.  i want all the bus drivers from Vancouver to move here and bring their buses cause, first of all they are nicer buses and secondly, they drive really fast =p.

Aww well, I have to get cleaned up, but I will post another message soon, maybe even TODAY :P
Oh yeah! One last thing. I think I must be spoiled rotten.  I ran out of money ya see and my car is kinda broken so my mom offered to pay to have it fixed for my birthday and she paid for my whole vancouver trip. I feel like i owe her big time.  I will come up with a super birthday or mom's day idea for her.  OK showa time. Be back soon.

Listening to the spinning of my heater fan
Hmm so my timeline that took me all of about 5 minutes to make has been tossed and replaced with a few pictures.  Reason: The page would excede transfer limites cause the pictures were so large.  As you can see I've revised my webpage. I wanted it to look less like a personal page and more like.. im not sure what, but just less cheese.  So I am sending in my official internal transfer from my Science degree to Psychology degree.  I think I will be accepted, there really are no limits in the faculty for
2 days till Vancouver.
Have  a great day,

Well those exams are finished and maybe I should really go into studying Dinosaurs... =P I bought my ticket for the Matt Good concert.  I kinda got all my hair cut off on Friday, so I guess I should put up a pic of what it looks like now.I think I will make a progressive page/  This could be quite humerous.  This week, one last midterm on Thursday then I'm off to Van-City.  Something new about me you may not know: I really like cranberry juice.  Honestly I dont have much to say and am kinda eager to start creating the Ducky timeline hehehe. Ok so click this link here to see the timeline. 5 days till Vancouver.
Have  a great day,
~Ducky ;)

January 25, 2003
Whew, lots of school lately. My car decided to take a bit of a rest with all this weather we've been having ( minus 30 Celcius for almost an entire week straight) and about 3 feet of snow.

I got contact lenses 3 days ago.  They are very useful in the cold weather, no fogged up glasses :D.

I've been getting my guitar tab binder together.
I have a biology abstract due in one week.
I bought some strawberry Mentos :) MMMmmMMm.

Hmm I don't know.  Can't think of anything eventful to write down.  Check out Avalanche at HMV and pre-order a copy for yourself. I think its almost bedtime.. its 5:47am.
countdown to vancouver: 21 days :)
